Beloved Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Royal Wood – a two-time JUNO and five-time Canadian Folk Music Award nominee – shares brand-new single and video,“Give It Up”, available now via Cordova Bay Records. Mixed by 5-time Grammy-winner Ryan Freeland, the addictive new track marks Wood’s first offering this year, and is rumoured to be a part of a larger project coming later this fall.

Following a celebrated national headline tour and a successful run supporting the legendary Bonnie Raitt, the new track sees Wood join forces with several Grammy five-time Grammy-winning mixerRyan Freeland (Bonnie Raitt, Ray LaMontagne). Described as “a letter to himself,” the new track captures both Wood’s signature sincerity and boundary-breaking artistry, and features Grammy-winning musicians Ash Soan (drums) and Hutch Hutchinson (bass).
